Meat Lasagna


Masa kat Milwaukee dulu aku selalu masak lasagna, maklum la the sheets and cheese were really cheap back there. The last time I cooked lasagna kat Malaysia ni was about a few years ago. Time tu aku pakai instant sheet, tak sedap. Tak cooked pun, may be I was the one who did not really understand the correct way to cook instant lasagna. I couldn't find regular sheets back then, the pre-cook sheet, until last month that I went to Cold Storage The Curve, I found this sheet brand De Cecco. Last nite I gave it a try, and the result was really good. Hubby memang suka pasta very very much, anything cooks with pasta taste good to him. Ditambah dengan creamy white sauce hmmmmm, and sticky mozzarella, with sourly cheesy tomato sauce hmmmmmm memang YUMMmmYYY!



MEAT LASAGNA


Beberapa sheets kepingan lasagna - depends on the container
Mozzarella cheese - shredded

Meat Sauce:
1 botol creamy cheesy pasta sos - aku pakai leggo - RM10++ sebotol
1/2 paket ground beef - aku pakai Ramly
1 biji bawang besar - cincang
3 biji bawang putih - cincang
1/2 camt oregano leaves
1/2 camt - rosemary
garam dan gula - to taste
2 biji tomato - dice
Sedikit button mushroom - slice
Lada hitam - coarse
Fresh parsley


White Sauce:
2 camb butter
2 camb tepung gandum
garam secukup rasa
lada hitam - coarse
susu secukupnya - bergantung kepada kepekatan yang diingini

Cara-cara:

1. Masak/celur kepingan lasagna mengikut instruction pada kotaknya.

2. White Sauce: Cairkan butter dalam periuk. Masukkan tepung gandum, sentiasa kacau supaya tidak berketul dan hangit. Masak atas api yang perlahan. Masukkan susu, sentiasa kacau sehingga tepung sebati dengan susu. Tambah susu mengikut kepekatan yang diingini dan dirasakan garam gula dan dimasukkan juga serbuk lada hitam.

3. Meat Sauce: Panaskan minyak dalam periuk. Tumis bawang putih dan bawang besar. Bila dah garing, masukkan daging cincang dan dimasak sehingga daging kekuningan. Bila daging dah garing masukkan sos leggo, tomato, oregano, rosemary, parsley, button mushroom dan dirasakan garam dan gula.

4. Penyediaan lasagna:
a. Sapu butter pada pan, spreadkan meat sauce kat base bekas.
b. Susun kepingan lasagna yang telah dicelur hingga masak.
c. Spreadkan white sauce, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese bg cover the layer.
d. Susun kepingan lasagna dan ulang langkah a,b, c dan d hingga habis.
e. Finish up with layer meat sauce, then white sauce, then cheese.
f. Bake lasagna tadi dlm oven, 190'C selama lebih kurang 15 - 20 minit ataupun top layer dia jadi golden brown

5. Hidang masa panas-panas. Masa nak makan sprinkle dengan Parmesan cheese and a few daun pudina. MMMMMM mmmm sedap!
